Glenn, I came across this video of a six year old girl, named Connie Talbot, who competed on the 2007 “Britain’s Got Talent” show with Simon Cowell. I thought it might hearten you to watch around 3:28 where Connie wishes her dad a Happy Father’s Day. Her dad looks like he’s bursting with pride, and I love the shirt he wears–“Vote Connie.”
She didn’t win the competition (Paul Potts did), but she did fantastic, and I thought you would appreciate the obvious love and pride between father and daughter shown here. 🙂
I would add that the little girl is very cute…
