‘I was a truck driver but I lost most of the use of my right hand…I’m facing a $23,000 arrearage…’

Raleigh, NC–A letter below from Trent, a reader in North Carolina: “Dear Glenn, “I have three children and I pay court-ordered child support. I was a truck driver but I lost most of the use of my right hand and haven’t made much money since. I’m facing a $23,000 arrearage and they are trying to get more out of me. “I now make $190 per week and just signed up for college to be able to get a decent job. I tried to be a mortgage loan officer but the market has gone. I’d like to apply for a job with a bank but in North Carolina they will not license me because of the arrearage.
Please help.” I get letters like these all day long…
