Building on its recent success in passing an excellent shared parenting law, NPO of Utah now plans to push for other new legislation. It will train members on the basics of lobbying to power this drive. Please attend! And bring a friend!

The free training will be held this coming Saturday, January 16 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at:

The Safety Consortium Building
400 W. Lawndale Drive (2500 S.)
Salt Lake City, Utah

(Enter Lawndale Drive from 300 West. There is a large parking lot on the east side of the building. Enter through the doors under the large sign that says “Training Room.”)

Dan Deuel, who was instrumental in passing the shared parenting bill, will present the training. Dave Daniels and Janet Robins will also be there.

If you have any questions about this event, call Janet at (801) 560-6097.

As Janet says, “The public, the parents who have been beat up by the mis-justices in the court system are our most valuable resources. We need you to join the fight and learn how to Lobby to make a difference!”

I cannot agree more strongly. If you expect reform to happen magically without your effort, you are not a player, you are a dreamer.
