As a service to non-custodial fathers in the region, Fathers & Families offers a “Support and Networking Evening” almost every Thursday night from 7:30pm – 9:30pm. Please call our office to confirm meeting dates and times.
These sessions are the only professionally moderated support and networking sessions in Massachusetts specifically designed for and conducted by non-custodial fathers.
Our focus is on healing and providing the skills needed to parent more effectively. Jeffrey Parks, LCSW, LMFT is our program director. These meetings are held in his Framingham offices.
Focus areas include:
- Problem solving and handling change
- Dealing with anger, pain, depression or loss
- Overcoming barriers to positive parenting
- Discipline and child development
- Career and family balance
- Making a new home for your new family
- Alcohol and drugs
- Love and sex
