Houston-area members of National Parents Organization are organizing for action in Texas under the leadership of Al Bates. This is welcome because Texas has been strangely quiet in recent years.
Al welcomes your participation. He is looking for people who can invest some modest time and effort in planning and carrying out activism, not just offer opinions in a committee meeting.
Al had planned to organize an Easter egg hunt for children and their non-custodial parents, but the calendar ran too quickly and it couldn’t be put together fast enough. There are also plans for more direct political action to reform the family courts. If you are part of the planning team, you can offer your action ideas for discussion.
