Rita Fuerst Adams, MBA, CFRE is a Management and Development Consultant and the founder of Charitable and Philanthropic Management Counsel

For 25 years, Adams has worked in the management, fundraising, board leadership, and volunteer management of charitable and philanthropic organizations. She has worked with clients with operating budgets of as much as $1.5 billion and her fundraising campaigns have netted as much as $450 million.

Adams has authored articles and edited a book on fundraising regulations and laws, has chaired the Government Relations Committee of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Massachusetts Chapter and also served on its Board, and has spoken at the National Center on Nonprofit Enterprise’s inaugural event.

From 2006-2009 Rita Fuerst Adams, CFRE, a Charitable and Philanthropic Management Consultant, conducted a series of several dozen focus interviews with prominent citizens to help craft Fathers & Families” plans and message.

Interviewees included 1988 Democratic Party presidential candidate Michael S. Dukakis, as well as entrepreneurs, philanthropists, corporate giving officers, foundation leaders, and other prominent citizens throughout the United States. The invaluable insights gained from these focus interviews are used to help shape Fathers & Families” Strategic Plans.
