With existing affiliates in California, Massachusetts and Ohio, Fathers and Families is working hard to establish affiliates in other states.
Our policy is to establish affiliates by first identifying leadership and funding at the Board level. Much of the necessary Board-level leadership and funding emerge from the existing 50,000 readers of Glenn Sacks and Fathers and Families, as will ready-made grassroots membership. The national organization provides leadership development, fundraising assistance, visibility, research, model legislation and guidance to the affiliates.
Terms of affiliation will are developed with the help of legal counsel. Affiliates adopt the Fathers and Families name, logo, graphics, mission and vision statements, core principles, and oversight of public positions and statements. National maintains a unified member database.
