Four-year-old Alejandro Gonzalez-Hayes was born in Christian County, to his Kentucky mother, Amanda Hayes, and Spanish diplomat father, Mario Gonzalez Pliego. As we know from this newspaper’s recent report, Alejandro was sent to Turkey with his father while his mother may rarely see him again.
