It’s Independence Day and we at National Parents Organization wish you and yours a happy, restful and safe 4th.
There is much about our country that the Founding Fathers would neither recognize nor like. One of those is the power exerted by family courts to separate children from their parents. The fight against that power may not rival the American Revolution, but derives from certain of its tenets, among them that all humans are created equal. We now fight for parental equality in family courts with a view to the betterment of society and everyone living in it.
So when you celebrate today, remember that, while the Independence Day we remember was a long time ago, the fight continues.
