On March 26, 2015, the Eagle-Tribune in North Andover, Massachusetts, quoted Ned Holstein, MD, MS, Founder and Board Chair of National Parents Organization, in the story “Advocates push for shared parenting in divorce cases.”
The story featured Massachusetts’ active shared parenting legislation and stated, “Holstein said studies have shown that shared parenting reduces conflict and domestic violence and allows both parents to ‘pursue their careers and social lives without the burden of singlehandedly raising a child.’
The story quoted Holstein as saying, “That breakdown of gender roles has been very slow to come to family probate courts.”
