New York, NY–There’s not much to say about this that the New York Post article doesn’t already say (New York Post, 1/4/09). A father’s grief at the death of his son, 10, allegedly killed by his mother’s violence and neglect, is all that’s left. The boy died the day after Christmas. Read about it here. And here (New York Post, 12/29.08).
The father, Charles Porter, tried for years to find and protect his son, but the well-known system that favors mothers over fathers often regardless of the facts of individual cases was too much for him. He’s bereft; his son is dead. There’s not a lot more to say.
