New York, NY–Here’s a good piece by Lisa Belkin in the New York Times that discusses Saylors and gives readers a peek at vital facts about fathers and fatherhood (New York Times, 1/6/09). In tracking the increasing involvement of fathers in the PTA, Belkin also tracks the increasing involvement of fathers in the lives of their children generally. She goes on to cite research detailing the improved outcomes of children with actively-involved fathers.
All in all, not bad for the NYT.
